Due to a positive COVID-19 test result in the community, the Executive Committee has initiated a semi-lockdown of Metlakatla. At this time there will be no ferry service between Metlakatla and Prince Rupert until further notice, while the ban on non-residents to the community continues and will be strictly monitored and enforced.
Please continue to practice all provincial health guidelines related to self-isolation as directed by health agencies if required, limiting gatherings to those within your household, physical distancing, frequent hand-washing, wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer.
