Please find attached a draft Metlakatla First Nation Access, Residency and Trespass Law and Community and Land Protection Law.

These laws have been introduced by Council for enactment in accordance with section 8 of the Metlakatla Land Code.

Before Council enacts these laws, members have an opportunity to provide comments on the laws for Council’s consideration. If you have any comments, please provide them to lands@metlakatla.ca no later than November 6th, 2026.

Note that the laws may be subject to change before enactment, based on feedback received and other considerations of Council.
