For the first time, and based on feedback from previous community meetings, the Metlakatla Land Management Advisory Committee will be live broadcasting its next membership meeting, scheduled for Tuesday October 4 in the Metlakatla Room at the Highliner Plaza Hotel in Prince Rupert, online.
The guests for the meeting, including Chief Robert Louie of the Westbank First Nation, Lands Advisory Board (LAB) and Leah George-Wilson of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, LAB Director will beg...in speaking at 6:45 p.m. All members are encouraged to watch the online broadcast to take in their presentations and the following discussion.
To ensure the meeting remains open only to Metlakatla members, a link to the stream will be sent via email at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday evening, with the stream beginning at 6:45 p.m.
For those able to attend the meeting in Prince Rupert, the event will get underway at 6: 00 p.m. and include a meal.
